Mim Lewis was born in Cornwall, England on 14th March 1985, where she was brought up the youngest of six children. Her earliest artistic achievements included winning Best Art Exhibit in a village show for a dog made out of vegetables.

At 12 she left school to pursue an alternative education but managed to return in time to take a few GCSEs. After gaining an A Level and BTEC Foundation Diploma in art, she was accepted by Falmouth University College to do a BA Hons. in Illustration. She is currently in her final year of this course.
